Unleashing AI’s Potential for Patients: From Design to Closeout
The Fall 2026 Technical Meeting will examine how AI is beginning to reshape clinical development across the full study lifecycle, from design and planning through execution, analysis and closeout.
The focus will be practical rather than promotional: where AI is already creating meaningful value, where implementation remains difficult, and what R&D technology leaders need to put in place for these capabilities to become trusted, scalable and operational.
Presentations, panels and discussion will explore the technology, data, governance, workflow and organizational questions that arise as AI moves more deeply into clinical development.
The meeting will bring together member practitioners, invited experts and specialists to examine not only what AI can do, but what is required to make it useful in the real operating environment of biopharma R&D.
Bringing member priorities back to the table
The Fall Business Meeting will again place structured peer roundtables at the center of the member discussion.
Members will bring forward current challenges, questions and emerging priorities from their own organizations, compare experience with peers, and identify the issues that warrant deeper collective attention.
The resulting discussions will be shared in plenary and used to help shape future PRISME Forum activity, including questions and themes considered for subsequent Technical Meetings.
The agenda evolves from the issues members themselves bring into the room.
The Technical Meeting will examine questions such as:
- Where is AI beginning to create measurable value across clinical development?
- What data and technology foundations are needed to support trusted AI-enabled workflows?
- How should AI be integrated into established development processes rather than remain a parallel experiment?
- What governance, validation and accountability are required as AI moves closer to regulated and decision-critical work?
- How should R&D technology organizations adapt as AI becomes embedded across scientific and operational workflows?
The final program will reflect the priorities developed by the Technical Meeting advisory group and the member community.
